sojobo
Does anybody know the name of the instrument made out of some kind of wood and rope to get your knuckles harder? Thanks in advance,FortuneCookieHi FortuneCookieAs Bushidoman suggests, it sounds like you are thinking of the Makiwara, however it is bit of a misconception that they exists to harden ones knuckles. Training Makiwara is more about engendering things like correct distance timing and mechanical body alignment.Sojobo Edited January 17, 2011 by sojobo I know violence isn't the answer... sojobo
Thanks all ! Does anybody has some kind of tutorial on how to use it?I would only attempt to train Makiwara with the guidance of an experienced person. You may hurt yourself otherwise. It is not like a Jane Fonda workout Vid - you can’t learn this stuff safely without an instructor.Sojobo I know violence isn't the answer...
