Sturdy Foam Kama

Hi all. The yearly Renaissance fair near where I live has something called a "barbarian combat" arena where peoples can go into and use foamed weapons such as spear and swords of various sizes to combat each other, and rent a weapon if they do not have one. I have started training in Shotokan Karate a while back, I am at the time of this post a Red belt close to earning my yellow belt as soon as I improve my Heian Nidan kata, and my sensei said he can show me how to use the kama soon as my choice weapon. I am wanting to acquire a pair of foam kama that I can bring with me to the Ren Fest, and with the exception of my brother, who I will be training with and thus he will know how to fight me, be able to win most of my duels with this exotic weapon.

I have seen various foam kama online for sale, but my worry is that most of these are only for solo practice, kata and what not, and that if I were to try deflecting something with the foam blade, the blade would simply bend away. I need a solid foam, that can hold it's form when force is applied to it, but at the same time, is not likely to bruise or otherwise seriously injure my opponent.

And of course, there is no martial art store in my area, so I am stuck shopping online. Does anyone know of a pair of foam kama out there that fit my needs? And what sites I would be able to purchase them from? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
