I agree, we'll have to break out jits agaisnt the hordes of terrified looters trying to take our ammo.

Cross train and load up on ammo.

If a zombie managed to grab you, juijutsu would be more effective than almost any other art at getting away safely without getting bit, but I definitely to not want to grapple anything that bites, be it a zombie or malnourished crackhead.

Against a zombie, which would be more preferred?

To assume the side control/back/mount position; aka, being on the top?

OR...

To assume the guard position; aka being on the bottom?

:)

Top. It's easier to keep him from biting you and if it's the infections kind of zomibe and not the voodoo type, you can't risk being turned. If you're in guard, best to blast him back and get back up or room to make the head shot.

Btw, greatest thread EVER.

If you're on bottom with a zombie (even in your closed guard) you are behind and will need to play catch up. Make sure you breathe through your nose, keep your mouth CLOSED, pieces/parts start falling off...bam you're infected. Blech

I would say, though, that you wouldn't have to worry about any "skilled zombie grapplers" out there. Once turned, any skills learned as a living being, or non-undead being, or whatever, pretty much go out the window. They have no skills, just a drive to feed and.....I'm not sure what else.

I think they groom and train poodles when no one is looking.

Zombie poodles. I knew I didn't like poodles; now I know why.
