Virgil Damian Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I'm having my first sport karate tournament in about a month. Now this is relatively new for me because even though Shito-ryu is a sport karate, I usually take a knockdown approach in sparring, whereby I always win by incapicitation. So how can I be more controlled and still dominate my fights? I'd rather lose a 100 times in practice than 1 time in a combat situation.
Soheir Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Just practice the way you are going to fight in the next tournament. “One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.” -Anthony Robbins
