"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing it's best day and night to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." -E. E. Cummings

“One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.” -Anthony Robbins

always be yourself. The world (and society) is always trying to change you be it through media, peer group pressure etc. Trying to be yourself is a hard battle in this day and age and you should never stop being yourself.

To paraphrase

'To express yourself honestly, without lying to oneself, that my friend is very difficult to do'

B.Lee

It is very difficult to do I have noticed as I get older I find more of myself every year.

The key to everything is continuity achieved by discipline.

The group that has the most problems with this is the teenage group. I see it a lot, and I do my best to help my kids understand that sticking to the status quo isn't always the right thing to do.

Even as an adult, its hard to deal with. :)
