This system is very similar to Matsumura Shorin Ryu with some extra kobudo. The Kuda kama katas are very nicely arranged.

According to Sensei Ron Lindsey, Matsumura Kenpo and Matsumura Seito some significant differences. He only named a few, mostly blocking and stances (he mentioned that Matsumura Seito does not have zenkutsu dachi, and Matsumura Kenpo uses longer stances in general). He said Kuda Sensei named his art Matsumura Kenpo because it's a blend of Matsumura Shorin Ryu and Okinawa Kenpo.

For what it's worth.

After studing kempo and sieto I completly agree. master kuda believed that the body was like a tree and stance was the roots, even though i trained in seito after master kudas death I didnt see much differences.
