GaryMo
I would consider him to be a martial artist first and foremost as this is what lead him towards acting.Undoubtedly, to the unaware, he will be known as an actor who made martial arts movies. pirataye
I voted for martial artist, because he was martial artist before he started acting. He did not stop his martial art trainings. If he was just an actor he couldn't have formed hybrid system "Jeet Kun Do". Which is mentioned by many as one of the deadliest martial arts in the world. Wish I was a health safety consultants or a cdm coordinator

Bruce was a child actor way before he became a martial artist. Bruce had his first role as a baby who was carried onto the stage. By the time he was 18, he had appeared in twenty films. Bruce didn't begin in the martial arts until he was 19 years old. Still, Bruce's prowess in the martial arts way overshadowed his acting skills. **Proof is on the floor!!! Shotokan_Tigress
I believe that he was a martial artist more than an actor and by more I don't mean longer. I mean his martial arts training was dominant. The greatest fight is the fight with oneself
brickshooter
I thought that he was a great MMA teacher. Not personally a fighter like his fans like to build him up to be. But a great MMA thinker and trainer.

JohnASE
When I think of Bruce Lee, I think of Bruce Lee, the martial artist, but I can't imagine who he would be if he weren't also Bruce Lee, the actor.I voted martial artist because I'd guess that's how he saw himself. brickshooter
By the way, is a martial artist anyone who practices a martial arts? If that's the explanation, I don't see how Bruce Lee wasn't a martial artist.
coldcube
I believe he was a martial artist and a great teacher. Prams pushchairs and nursery furniture are perfect gifts for new moms.
