judjohns Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I am testing for red belt (Texas Karate Institute, Lubbock, TX); we do the Chon Ji TKD forms and one step sparring but our free sparring is old style kickboxing with kicks and punches (no muy thai style knees etc); realistic self defense including weapons (knife, stick, gun). I expect the test to be about 1 and a half hours, I am in the best shape of my life and am READY but, I am 50 years old so anything can happen. This is the last color before Black Belt!
Patrick Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I went ahead and gave this it's own thread. Good luck, judjohns.Patrick Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com?
