kickmaster Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Here is the story according to William Cheung. I'll warn you it's a long story. Let me know what you guys think... http://www.enteract.com/~weishaar/martial/docs/cheung_attack
Kensai Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 I saw the video. Pretty cheap for this other fellow. They editied out the bits where Master Cheung got the upper hand.
Shaolin Fighter Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 That video didn't prove nothing.........
Thai_Kick Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 I download that mpeg and I must say they showed great Wing Chun techniques  Limits Are Not Accepted. They Are Elbowed, Kicked And Punched.
rabid hamster Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 emin is so much younger then willian cheung.. looks more like a brawl then an actual fight. It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.
Thai_Kick Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 Fight... Brawl... samething, what I would like to know is what happened to their Wing Chun training, did Emin Boztepe and William Cheung forget how to use it? They should have trained in some grappling! Limits Are Not Accepted. They Are Elbowed, Kicked And Punched.
rabid hamster Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 i meant more of a wing chun looking fight but i guess that doesnt matter much either... It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.
Shaolin Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 IMO The Cheung/Boztepe ‘fight’ is hardy relevant to Wing Chun since there was no Wing Chun to be found at least in the clips I saw. Boztepe’s cowardly attack clearly showed that he had no intention of really engaging Cheung. What was his true intent? Certainly not a true test of skill vs. skill - not combat. Overall a bad showing for WC and both 'masters' - a red herring to be sure for years to come. Moy Yat Ving Tsun Rest in peace: Moy Yat Sifu
Kensai Posted October 18, 2002 Posted October 18, 2002 William Cheung, could easily defeat Emin, no disrepect to Emin, he is a great fighter, but no true master like Sifu Cheung, just MO. Take Care.
