I'll join the chorus and tell you that you should go back too. Yes, your body is not as strong as it used to be - so you will have to adapt, search, find new things. In the process your karate will improve. I'm even willing to bet that it will end up being better than what it used to be.

No matter how hard we train, our physical abilities go down with age. Learning to deal with this is part of the art.
