Hello,

I just recently moved into Orange Park, Florida which is right outside Jacksonville, but I'm Looking for a good karate school down here as I had a great one back in Maine but my dad was restationed down here due to the base closing. Right now there are two schools I'm looking at and plan to visit to find out more on them. But the First is Smiley's Combat Athletix,

http://www.combatathletix.com/

and the other is America Martial Arts Academy

http://www.combatathletix.com/

I'm looking to take Kenpo because in Maine I took Kempo and would like to stay with a similar martial art. Anyway Thank You.

first off what school did you previously go to so i can see what type of school it is. now i looked at the link u posted but its the same for both schools. it looks good but u need to do a trial class and see if its what you like. also u might want to look at 5 star martial arts. they also seem to look like a pretty good school. now i dont know if your looking for a sport or traditional school so its hard to help. i say take a few trial classes and check out the instructors or post a lil more info and i'll be more then happy to help a fellow martial artist.

oh hey sorry bout the link on the second one. here it is americamartialarts.info/home...... The school I came from was very small there were about six kids in my class. So we got a lot of one on one help with things. I would post stuff for you about it but they didn't have a website and I don't remember my sensei's phone number. I am looking for a traditional kenpo school. but don't mind if its modified as in kenpo but mixed with other forms in there as well. I appreciate the help and will try to post more info when I get home as it a little difficult on my phone. thank you!
