I am 5' 8" and I purchased a 5. The pants did shrink a little when washed, but, not to short. Remember, karate pants really are not supposed to be as long as your regular pants anyway so that you can kick without them getting in the way. I would recommend that you was the piranha gear pants in cold water. The KI pants do run longer.

i ordered a proforce ultra hw, i will report how i like it when it arrives.

i like the fact it is brushed cotton and also comes in half sizes. got a

decent deal on it too.

got the proforce ultra hw yesterday. sweet gi. exactly what i wanted as far as material goes. fits perfect after i washed it. i will report after i wear it a few weeks training.
