Patrick Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Cool house. That said, $50,000,000 could go a lot farther in North Carolina. DWx Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 TBH not sure I'd want a house like that, looks more like a hotel than a home. Probably great for a holiday get-away or something like that but don't think I could live in it.When I win the Euromillions lottery I might buy one though "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
evergrey Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I don't know, it seems kind of tacky. Like something someone desperate for happiness would buy without realizing that they aren't going to be any happier owning two home theatres instead of one. I'd take a much smaller house that felt like a home with hundreds of acres of green pasture and a nice barn instead, personally. Wouldn't mind having a little dojo in my home though, so I wouldn't have to go to the park to practice my katas with a peanut gallery of random people, hah! Oh well, I should probably get on that... http://kyokushinchick.blogspot.com/"If you can fatally judo-chop a bull, you can sit however you want." -MasterPain, on why Mas Oyama had Kyokushin karateka sit in seiza with their clenched fists on their thighs.
Patrick Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I would say that different people have different ideas of luxury. Hundreds of acres of green pasture and a barn would be luxury for some, where this house might be luxury for others. All depends on what we enjoy.Patrick Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com?
