rabid hamster
Yep I heard of it. It's like an art that the hwarang warriors of Korea used. If you want to take the art, unless you have expeirence you start by doing a more simple art called taesoodo, I think? And at the more advanced level they teach you ki healing(like acupressure, acupuncutre, etc) and stuff. It sounds okay, I'm thinking about taking it.. But I don't know if it's effective since I'm looking for a more self defense art...Anyone here take it? It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.
SBN Doug
No, but from the descriptions, it sound like Kuk Sool Won has a lot of similarities. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
rabid hamster
http://www.hwarangdo.com/Magazines/BBJan77-dynamic-tech.htm There's a site about it. almost sounds like ninja stuff since they have stealth techniques, chanting to cause illness, etc. It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye. battousai16
yeah, i take it, and you guys hit the nail on the head mr/ms. hamster, fear not about self defense, as we do a lot of that too. not quite as much as i'd like, but enough to stay sharp "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
