david123 Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 ive started teaching a wee bit at some classes but i just seem to be using a louder voice rather than a proper loud powerfull teaching voice....any tips?? practice doesnt make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect
Lupin1 Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Make sure you're speaking from your stomach and not from your throat. The lower down you feel your sound starting the more powerful it'll be. It'll also save your voice as speaking loudly from higher up for a long period of time puts more strain on the voice than supporting it from the stomach.
david123 Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 thanks ill give that a try practice doesnt make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect
GeoGiant Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Speak as if your only speaking to the people at the back of the class.
