three60roundhouse Posted July 27, 2002 Posted July 27, 2002 All the fights i have neer been in ended with me running away. Luckily I have never been sucker punched or hit from behind - yet. I'm not particularly aggressive, and if some bloke challenged me, I'd swallow my pride and back off. If they swung at me, it'd be a different story. Where did you get your info from? The Gracies like fighting with little rules and no time limits. WHY DO YOU COUNTINUE TO TALK ABOUT NHB, WHEN IT"S OBVIOUS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT? Use your head and stick to what you know maybe you won't look so dumb! WOW you sound just like ALL those Karate, TKD and Kung-Fu schools that challenge us into (NHB) competition. The fighers club I attened has been challenge 14 times by other martial art dojo's/club, WHY? because they don't like us and think the same way you do ZakariRu! "it's not real fighting" Our fighters have lost once, ONCE, some guy from a Karate school beat our guy, ONCE out of 14 competitions againist these martial art studios. After the competitions we NEVER hear from them again. It's great practice before we fight competitions with real NHB fighters. Back to the subject! Nearly all the Gracies have stopped competing (except for Renzo and Rickson) due to rules and time limits, plus the Gracies don't own any MMA organization so how would they control the rules? Second STOP saying it's not real fighting cause it is, if you disagree then PLZ enter a MMA competition their are many out their just go to http://www.mma.tv to find some in you area. Since it's not "real fighting" as you put it, then you should be able to beat everyone up, right? Martial_Artist Posted July 27, 2002 Posted July 27, 2002 Been in a few. Wrong place wrong time. Only one of them has ever gone to the ground. And that was a fight years ago in school on the playground. After that, not once in my adult life. Been in quite a few scraps. None of those have gone to the ground. More than one attacker? Have taken five. Two were trained fighters. More than that? Not likely, unless they're completely stupid or I'm aided. UFC? I don't care about anything done for competition. So, no comment. monkeygirl Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 One time when I was 9 or 10 I got in a catfight with my cousin.... does that count? Other than that, I've never been in a fight, thank heaven. I still have a scar on my forearm from my cousin though.... 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.

Tapout Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 WHAT? what point? That your still talking s***? ZakariRu...Like I said, stop talking about NHB you know NOTHING about it. Oh and the reason why you haven't entered an NHB competition is because your afraid, afraid of getting beat up REAL BAD! Also don't look into anything for me, I know the sport and love it, so don't educate me on a subject you know nothing about. YET I DARE YOU TO ENTER AN NHB COMPETITION, CAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR BLOCK KNOCKED OFF! http://www.nhbcanada.ca/Photo%20Files/NHBshadow.JPG Tapout or pass out, it dosen't matter to me!
ZakariRu Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 so tapout are you 12 or were you just knocked back into that state of mind? the point was that nhb events dont mimick real fights. Ive never put on an 8 oz glove before a fight. you might have, but i havent.. And dont assume so much about what i know and dont know, it just makes you look arrogant.
