Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I have been practicing Shaolin Kung Fu, Muay Thai, and Aikido solely by myself through the use of books and videos for the past three years. But soon I am going to join a Kempo school so it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can post stuff on technique, forms, or just any advice in general. Thanks guys.

I am not a fighter, I am a guardian.

Well, to begin with as far as I know there aren't any kempo systems with origins in Korean martial arts, so you would probably be better off posting this in another forum.

American kenpo?

There's a rather marked difference between American kenpo and Chinese kempo, as far as I understand it.

I think you are right. I know some kempo techniques and they are very fluid and "kung-fuish".

Hello,

We removed a post from this thread in error. It is below. I apologize for the trouble.

Thanks,

Patrick

I start learning kempo by watching Chinese movies. Soon I will get admission in a kempo institute.
