Staring at the top of their nose too, you're looking them DEAD between the eyes... it works with staring contests pretty well too! :grin:

 

Well, I learnt Palgwe Sam Jang Hyung at my last lesson, and we did some sparring.

 

Another useful thing... never show you're tired.

you are right, karateronin(sensei leak!), never, ever be intimidated by your apponent, if you lose self confidence, you lose the fight, always remember who you are and what you stand for, your apponent may be bigger than you, but if you believe in yourself and dont back down, you can become stronger than them. I have said before, if you beleive more, you can acomplish more, and your apponent WILL be defeated

mind games dont always work!

you can play mind games and psyche out Carl Herbert all day, but when it comes down to it, he's still gonna kick your ass!

I never said play mind games ste, all i said was, dont let them play mind games with you, dont let them intimidate you, stay focused, you might get an ass kickin, but at least its not coz you have a weak mind or owt
