bushido_man96
I have mixed feelings about trying to compare prices, too high-too low arguements and the like. There is no doubt that there are guys in the MA business to make a profit. After all, people like to be paid for their time.I don't like the setup of the schedule that is presented, but, I don't have too much problem with the pricing. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
armanox
I did not see how many times a week one can train listed.$11/class doesn't sound bad. $110 for 3 weeks sounds a bit more expensive then I would pay. The average I've seen here (for mostly schools in exposed rented spaces like shopping centers and the like) in the Baltimore-DC Metro area is $110/month - 160/month. I pay $5/class for karate and $60/month for Aikido. traditionalkarateman
Class fees can be paid per lesson, at $11 per person. However the preferable fee is monthly (/ for 4 weeks): $40 (1 per wk), 79 (2 per wk), $110 (3 per wk) - each lesson is 1.5hrs with the option of an extra .5hrs afterward for some smaller or one-on-one work. This part meant that for:$40 - you can train once a week for a month.$79 - twice a week for a month.$110 - three times a week for a month (+ 1 x 1/2hr one on one lesson)
jaedeshi
I think it too expensive. I like that there is the option to pay for different rates for the amount of classes you plan to attend. The school doesn't offer enough space, or equipment. You also make seem as the instructor doesn't have full teaching status yet so that's another strike against the school. Although the rates are about average for a large metro area you should be getting a lot more for your money. I know of place that offers more than that for free. JohnASE
As you can see, rates can vary. If you're converting to US$ from something else, our experiences can be greatly different from yours. Not all metropolitan areas are created equal. Beverly Hills and Hollywood are very near each other, but average incomes and real estate prices are worlds apart.Having said that, many schools around here are around $100/month.[edit] Forgot to mention. I'm in a suburb of Los Angeles. John - ASE Martial Arts Supplyhttps://www.asemartialarts.com
