In another questionable move by Major League Baseball, A's owner John Fisher has been promoted to the Executive Committee.  Fisher has been public enemy #1 in Oakland for years, and I can't remember a time an owner was so unanimously hated by fans all across their own sport, at least not since Art Modell moved the Browns 30 years ago. As if Fisher's behavior in Oakland was not repulsive enough, now reports are that the Las Vegas stadium will go 250 million dollars over the original budget. The A's will be on the hook for that extra money, not the taxpayers, who are already getting stuck with paying almost 400 million dollars for the stadium.  Sheesh.

Yankees seem to be extending Manager Cashman’s contract; news expected soon. I’m on the fence with this one because imho he made some real bad calls during the World Series against the Dodgers.

I was looking over the Yankees February transactions and it seems that the Yankees are trying to improve their pitching staff, which they need to.

Yankee pitcher Marcus Stroman missed several workouts. Why?? He’s rejecting his role as a relief pitcher. Why?? He believes he’s a starting pitcher.

would be interesting to see the actual amount that Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were getting paid at their peaks. There are rumours that Messi was actually on £100m a year (the Barcelona books were apparently very very messy). Mbappe did get offered a billion pound contract to play in Saudi though a few years ago and turned it down
