Dr. Frank Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 Feeling just a tiny bit better after 3 days. Can almost sort of lift my arm to shoulder height. Will be a long and painful recovery.Took photo of 1 trophy from each of 5 decades. 1975, 1984, 1991, 2009 & 2010.http://www.fototime.com/C824D10CCE45C4E/standard.jpg
Ti Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 switch to knockdown karate and next time take the kid down.
mr_obvious Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 My sentiments exactly. No matter what format you're competing / sparring / training...... Just my rule, don't hit in any way I wouldn't want to get hit myself (unless in real-life, self-defense situations, of course.) Me personally, if that dude kicked me in the elbow, on purpose, was generally out-of-control, then add in the judging inequities........ All that spells: time to forget the rules (since winning is clearly not possible) and get it on!
TheKarateKid Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 @ Dr. Frank: Was this at nationals in perth? 22 people from my dojo went there and i was wondering if you knew the name of the person. ~Rhi
