Ask your instructor!!!!!!! I could give you a very general list of yellow belt requirements, but, I could be either way off or dead on or kind of close. Practice what it is that you've been taught thus far and practice it endlessly. My Dai-Soke never told/gave us the syllabus in any shape, way, and/or form. His way was that when he decided to invite you to a testing cycle; you had better know it; whatever the it was asked of you.

Are we suppose to only learn and then prepare for what's on the next test?

:)

Keyhorns?

Keyhorns are really easy, most involve just 3 kicks. One of them involves a front kick, arching kick and round house.

Thankyou everyone for all the replies,I'm looking forward to the grading now! :)

There are some Filipino martial arts guys with a defined set of biting techniques for grappling work. Deliberate distinctions between nips, chomps, bite-and-shakes, and the like. :D

Really? Thats a bit weird!

Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly.

Best of luck! I wouldn't worry about it too much. Testing for yellow belt is a basic proficiency test really. Most schools aren't going to be overly tough on someone testing for yellow belt. Just make sure you know your techniques, katas, etc. and do your best!

We joke at my school that the two hardest tests one takes in martial arts are the yellow belt test and the black belt test. The yellow belt because you have no idea what to expect. The black belt because you know EXACTLY what to expect. :D
