JAKEHE3078
Hey guysI have a little problem, I have a good way to wrap my hands that support the wrist, and has a nice little knuckle pad, however when the elacticity starts to go, the wraps keep slipping off. What my question is, does anybody have a good method for wrapping there hands, so that you get the support you need, and can still make the wraps last a while? You do not need to be flexible to do a Jodan (head kick), if your opponent is already on the ground.
Kuma
How often do you wash them? I have very old wraps that still give me good protection. It could just be the way you clean them.
Toptomcat
I think by 'last a while' he means throughout an entire workout rather than over years.
Kuma
If that's the problem, he just might need a better wrapping technique then.
JAKEHE3078
I wash them about once a week. I'm pretty sure Im doing something wrong but I cant figure out what. I'm sure I just need a better technique. You do not need to be flexible to do a Jodan (head kick), if your opponent is already on the ground. GeoGiant
Washing wraps once a week seems like overkill. I wash mine once or twice a month. Make sure the velcro straps are sealed before washing otherwise the softer side of the velco seems to fall apart.
