KUGB_Chris1985 Posted August 18, 2001 Posted August 18, 2001 about the foam nunchaku, they are a really good idea, I started of with metal, telescopic ones and they really hurt when you hit yourself with them foam ones are much nicer "In combat know the enemys rhythm, use a rhythm he cannot anticipate, upset his rhythm, and win." Apart from Wing Chun, where I started off with nothing, and had to grade for your first sash (red). _________________ Best Wishes Darryl Garrick 9th Kyu Shotokan Karate Karate International Black Belt Schools (UK) This Message was edited by: Goose on Aug 18, 2001 12:27pm Goose6th Kyu Shotokan Karate9th Kyu Okinawan KobudoKarate International Black Belt Schools (UK)
thaiboxerken Posted August 18, 2001 Posted August 18, 2001 Foam chucks are good to train with. But don't spar or train with them at full power. They break too easy, and can still hurt if you smack you partner with them. BTW.. What the heck it this ---> :pony: Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts.
