Everyone has things they either want to buy or save up for. Especially with some people getting money for Christmas, but I mean generally through the year as well. What things do you currently want to buy?

I'm out of work at the moment, so my list is growing with no means of reducing it! I'd like a few games (Assassin's Creed II, Uncharted 2) but what I really need is some RAM for my Mac, a large (1TB?) Portable Hard Drive, and ideally a new Graphics Tablet too, I'm tempted by the Bamboo Pen and Touch though given the cash I'd prefer an Intuos.

Seems everything on my list is really expensive... so I'll be buying NOTHING til I get a job!

There's a pair of home theater speakers I saw and heard recently that I was absolutely drooling over, but at $3500 for the pair, I don't foresee buying them anytime soon.

I really want to go to the dentist and have the root canal I need, but I don't have insurance and can't afford the several thousand dollars it'll cost.

I'm looking into a new truck this year (or next)!

It's down to the Ford Super Duty 250 or the Super Duty 350

Dually, 4x4, max. towing package.... and an 80 HP chip just for fun.

I'm thinking about buying an electric motorcycle. Brammo dropped the price of their Enertia, and it's now selling through Best Buy, who also arranges financing. There's a federal tax credit which knocks 10% off the new $8k price. If they get approved for the California rebate, that could take another $1500 off. That would be under $6k!

The bike is pretty cool. It's not very fast, but it'll make a great local commuter. Top speed is about 60 or 65 mph. I think range is about 40 miles. No gas and less maintenance makes it pretty tempting, and no exhaust smell!

The Best Buy in my area doesn't carry it, but I hear the one in West L.A. does. One of these days, I'll have to fight the traffic to get down there and check it out.

Well I bought an external hard drive! Hitachi 1TB, very nice little aluminium enclosure. Only £62 off amazon, and it's just arrived! Time for a road test...
