OldRookie Posted August 16, 2002 Posted August 16, 2002 Shaghai Knights with Jackie Chan & Donnie Yen & Hero with Jet Li & Donnie Yen. Yen plays the bad guy in both. I think Kelly Hu From Scorpion King plays a bad girl in "Knights" also......((pardon my drool when I mention her name...)) *1st Dan Oct 2004*"Progress lies not enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.""It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not deserve them."
BlueDragon1981 Posted August 16, 2002 Author Posted August 16, 2002 Any new Seagal movies anyone know of?
KickChick Posted September 2, 2002 Posted September 2, 2002 There is soon to be a sequel to 1994's Timecop.... the sequel, Timecop 2, Jason Scott Lee's name has been tossed around to fill the shoes of Jean-Claude Van Damme, the original Timecop. No word was released on when the movie would film or when it would find its way to theaters. Also there is Jackie Chan's new one The Tuxedo... http://www.thetuxedo.net/ with Jennifer Love Hewitt. The new Van Damme movie is "H e l l " due out next year ... http://www.geocities.com/theactionkingsj/ActionKings-VanDamme-Hell.html Steven's Seagals new one is "The Foreigner" due out March 2003 For more info on movies due out soon check out this site! http://www.geocities.com/theactionkingsj/
OldRookie Posted September 2, 2002 Posted September 2, 2002 \\These are all planned for release in 2003 or later.//The remake of the 1971 classic Billy Jack sometime next year-no leads picked last time I checked.... Of course, Rush Hour 3 with the originals re- cast. How about this, Precious Sword,Golden Hairpin- I thought it was a joke at first but it is actually a prequel to Crouching Tiger......here is one I have been hoping for for quite some time--a yet untitled film with ((insert drumroll..)) Jackie Chan & Jet Li! From Colombia pictures described as an action comedy "rumored" to be a loose remake of Midnight Run. *1st Dan Oct 2004*"Progress lies not enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.""It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not deserve them."
monkeygirl Posted September 3, 2002 Posted September 3, 2002 I'v seen advertisements on box office about a new Van Damme film called Replicant, where he is cloned and fights himself I think. No offense, but that was a HORRIBLE movie...I saw it on Sci-Fi Channel, and couldn't stand it. The bad part is, this wasn't the first time he's done a twin thing, if I remember correctly. Van Damme has several rules when making movies: 1. He HAS to have lots of screen time. Lots and lots. Even more than most starring roles. Best solution: have a twin. 2. He MUST (and this is an important one) make out with at LEAST one girl. 3. Everyone else's acting must be horrible, because he can't act himself. (although I thought Timecop was pretty good as far as his movies go) Notice this is also true with Britney Spears. 4. He must be able to survive impossible situations, i.e.: Being blown up. I mean, he could have C4 out the wazoo (even stuffed IN the wazoo ), have it detonated, and come out with maybe a few scratches. Notice this is also true with Britney Spears 1st dan & Asst. Pacificshore Posted September 14, 2002 Posted September 14, 2002 There is also a movie coming out real soon, or maybe it's out already called something like "the transporter". About a guy who's asked to deliver a package in the trunk of a car, but he's not to open the trunk. It looks like there's some martial arts in it on top of big explosions and gun fighting. The main character who plays the transporter does a split kick in the trailer on 2 bad guys. Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
monkeygirl Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 I just saw "The Accidental Spy" by Jackie Chan. One of his better movies, really! There's actually a point where he fights completely butt-naked. That was gross. The fights showed Jackie's trademark originality in his fights (gotta love the way he gets out of the taxi cab), but not as much as films like Rumble in the Bronx or Mr. Nice Guy. I can't wait to see the Tuxedo. Plot in Accidental Spy was OK, but you can't expect much more than that. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
BlueDragon1981 Posted September 18, 2002 Author Posted September 18, 2002 I thought the Accidental Spy was stupid.
