Sibylla
I've been told to get 12 oz boxing gloves for kickboxing. I got a pair from the MA shop. But I think they are too big, not only roomy but long, as in the velcro wrist support being way up on the arm. I've heard that gloves made in Thailand, like Twins have smaller hand compartment. Any comments or advice?

yodmuaythai
I recommend Fairtex gloves - BGV8 for you because this design have layer foam core more than other design that fit for your small hands and the best protection for your training. You can find it in resonable prices on ebay https://www.yakthai.com - We would like to open Thailand to The Earth http://www.facebook.com/Yakthai - Yakthai Muay Thai Society
Sibylla
I have a pair of Fairtex BGV1 on the way..(little worried they may be fakes though, bought on ebay..). I thought BGV8 was for competition only so they wouldn't be for me. Thank you for the advice!
yodmuaythai
I confirm you can use Fairtex gloves - BGV8 for your training. They made this design in solid tone colour and selling this design at some country such as Fairtex Finland distributor. I reccomend you can buy this item on ebay because some Thai seller can order made this item in prices cheaper than your local shop for you. If you don't sure seller on ebay, I reccomend you buy item on seller that have positive feedback more than 98%. https://www.yakthai.com - We would like to open Thailand to The Earth http://www.facebook.com/Yakthai - Yakthai Muay Thai Society

Sibylla
I've recieved the Fairtex BGV1 and I just love them. They are snug but I can use wraps with them. And they feel much lighter on than the previous pair. Maybe not the best for raw beginners, or hard sparring/heavy hitters though, since they aren't big pillows. I didn't believe that the gloves could make such a big difference, it's much better with these ones.
