BlueDragon1981 Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 Tonfa and Escrima is my vote. (night stick and batton they carry is why) Most important is always a quick mind.
Bon Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 I think BJJ and a striking art.. BJJ 'cause they can control an opponent without hurting them and if worse comes to worst they can hurt them if they need to.. It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
ckdstudent Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 I'll agree with the tonfa, but I'd probably go for a collapsable bo as a second weapon. ---------Pil SungJimmy B
Eye of the Tiger Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 Nunchuka. But yeah like Bon said I think it would be much more useful to learn an MA like BJJ or Ju Jutsu. I know they learn basic stuff like twisting someones arm but thats about it.
Pacificshore Posted July 21, 2002 Posted July 21, 2002 I would agree with the Eskrima stick or Tonfa as the weapon to learn for L.E. It would be most practical since many carry a straight stick, collapsable baton, or the PR-24(Tonfa style stick). Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
MonkeyNinja Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 Tonfa, baton, collapsible baton(springsteel type are good), or even a jutte.
ZeRo Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 i think either tonfa nunchaku or bo. all good and powerful.
