Mankr Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 my family was thinking about moving to Australia but i am sh*t scared of the idea of funnel web spiders living to my house, do you see many of them ?
BlueDragon1981 Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 I hate spiders too....the best way to deal is to research it and make sure you know what it looks like and if it will be in your area. Also know where the hospital is. That way you have nothing to fear. Another thing is that it is rare to get bit by one. Knowing about the spider will help you not worry about it.
John G Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 Mankr, What part of Australia are you moving to? We don't have funnel web spiders here in the west. John G Jarrett III Dan, ITF Taekwon-Do
Taikudo-ka Posted July 21, 2002 Posted July 21, 2002 Hehe Don't worry... most people are not dropping dead from spider bites over here. Funnel webs live in the ground and generally don't bother people. Unless you're out in the bush you won't see that many spiders anyway. Maybe a huntsman will come inside occasionally, but they are harmless. Big and furry, but harmless. KarateForums.com - Sempai
