qbushido Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Good morning all, Im a new member here, still getting my feet under me in the forums but have a quick question. I've resumed my training after some time away and am looking for a new heavyweight uniform to train in, does anyone have a brand that they like and trust? Have any of you used the Kamikaze or Budokan brands I'm living in chicago now so a heavy uniform isnt a problem, I actually prefer it. Thanks in advance
Ichi_Geki Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I am a meijin man all the way. Classical Fighting arts sells them through their website. And you can get a nice embroidery of your name or the style you are practicing on the left side as well.
SenseiJ Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I own a kamikaze gi and am very happy with it. I also have a shureido gi and a ronin. Shureido gis are expensive, but last. The ronin is my newest gi and I was very happy with the quality for the price. I believe it was around $70. Would recommend any of the three to anyone, it would depend how your budget.
qbushido Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 thanks, I think I am going to order a Kamikaze tomorrow.
WireFrame Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I have a Kamikaze Kaiten Europa. Not the heaviest available but its still tough as leather and is great to train in.
