breaking and breaking?

Recommended Posts

Well if your instructor disapproves, then definately never mind.

I agree, it is all in the head. For my daughter, it helped her get past it. But I can see where it wouldn't work the same for everyone.

I was thinking about breaking after I read the braking thread in the Tae Kwon Do section and remembered something.

The man in the power breaking championship on ESPN who dislocated his shoulder (and immediately had someone pop it right back into place) has also been a speed breaking champion.

Also, in the family, his wife competed one year in the creative breaking division. Their style is Issh-in ryu. Hey some of the Issh-in ryu people have reall kick butt attitudes when it comes to their training.

And they look and seem like such mild mannered people.

thats the way it usally is..the real martial artist are the ones who seem laid back ..ouiet...they dont talk alot..they dont brag alot..they dont walk around saying "hey your style sucks" or "ive been in twenty street fights so i know what im talking about" they just stay quiet and when it comes time to demonstrate thier skills..they will leave you with your mouth hanging open..and humbled again..
