Tiger1962
I would like to buy one of these for my husband since I know he's been wanting one for a while now. I'm not familiar with the various brands that sell this piece of equipment and was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation or has one of their own to give a review of.Thanks! RichardZ
Personally, I like the types with a crank system.Or if he enjoys to craft things; My other suggestion is to find out what he may like and go from there.
Tiger1962
Actually the kind of machine I'm looking at is the one you sit on that has the leg extensions to either side. I noticed a few brands (ProForce is one), but I'm not certain how the quality is. Tiger1962
He just wants one - doesn't care which brand. LOL Ok, so I've seen the Versaflex and the Stretchmaster so far. I am trying to find reviews and see which one is better. IcemanSK
He just wants one - doesn't care which brand. LOL Ok, so I've seen the Versaflex and the Stretchmaster so far. I am trying to find reviews and see which one is better.Formal reviews might be hard to come by. If I were in the market for one, I'd probably go with Versaflex by Century...simply because it's a trusted company: so it's likely to be built to last a while. Being a good fighter is One thing. Tiger1962
That's good to hear because that's the one I ended up ordering today. Tiger1962
Quick review - very disappointed with the quality of this piece of equipment. Ordered the Versaflex from Century and had to return it the first time because it arrived with missing pieces & an unsealed box ( !! ). Second time, my husband's trying to assemble it and the screwholes don't align. Called company and they will re-send part. They were very nice about it and all but I still expected better quality in the product.Chalk it up as experience I guess. Will not be ordering from them again, though. IcemanSK
I'm sorry that it was a bad experience for you. At least they made it right. I hope it works well when all is said & done. KarateGeorge
Yeah, I'm sorry to hear it hasn't been the best experience. I've never bought a stretching machine from Century before, but have bought other products from them and found them to be of good quality. It just goes to show that one person's experience may not always be the same as someone else's. Hopefully it all works out in the end with the stretching machine!
