GeoGiant Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I work with a double-end bag. I usually wear 1 lb hand weights when I work the bag. Remember to keep moving around the bag while working it. I usually do a full rotation left then a full rotation right. I like to keep my hands up (like I am holding a telephone to each one of my ears) so I practice defending a punch (ie. the bag swinging back at me).

Because that would make for great hook defense but it seems to me that you'd get the hell jabbed out of your face if the other man has quick hands.
Lee M Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Using a lighter bag and get the bag swinging works your fully body movement. You can shadow your head movement and make a smaller mini bag to have swinging back and forth so Pauli Malinagi using one once. martial arts training boxing for the streetstreet boxing
