shaolinsharyl Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Greetings, I am looking into martial arts software and quite frankly am not interested in paying $400+. I want something I can down load and not be billed for month after month after month....I have used quickbooks but don't like it. Not specific enough to our industry. I've also used spread sheets but again does not meet my needs. Anyone know of a good affordable program to download.thanks.
algernon Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Do you know anyone who is handy with coding? If not, there are probaly plenty of students at your nearest college in need of a quick buck. If you ask around, it shouldn’t be too hard to find someone who could write a program to fit your needs on the cheap. In fact, if you give me a description of what you are looking for, and if it's not terribly complicated, I or a friend of mine might be up to the task.
ninjanurse Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I presently use Martial Arts Organizer for my dojang and I like it. It serves my needs quite well but each school may be different. I was able to make payments if that helps. "A Black Belt is only the beginning."Heidi-A student of the artsTae Kwon Do,Shotokan,Ju Jitsu,Modern Arnishttp://the100info.tumblr.com/
shaolinsharyl Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 Thanks for the replies. I have relocated my program and am in the process of reorganinzing. Once I am settled I will give more thought to both replies.

masterphoenix Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Hi Andy,Thanks for your post. My needs are pretty simple. I am interested in what you have. Thanks, SharylI'd be very interested in seeing how you did it, and what you came up with. I need something to record belt tests and student info, but I really don't have enough students to justify paying big bucks for a lot of software features I won't use. /\Palms together in respect.
