Texting while driving

This rather graphic video was made by a police department in Britain to warn teenagers about the dangers of texting while driving. It wound up on YouTube:

Proud to be living in a state where texting while driving is both a primary offense and, if combined with any sort of incident, a felony.

It really is something that should be taken seriously. It is driving while impaired, and is wreckless. Not much different than driving under the influence of alcohol, when you consider what the consequences could be.

Was looking for another video similar to the one above that I saw on tv but found this instead:

.. I failed at it. Makes you realise how hard it is to concentrate whilst driving.

I got the "odd inclusion," DWx, but the test's text explained that people who see the oddity are often paying no attention to the pedestrians!

One mistake by being inattentive, and you plow right into all those people.
