is what works best. Personally, notice I said personally, I'm gonna shy away from weapons that scream legal entanglements such as knives and firearms. My personal preference would be a walking cane, you know, the one with the crook on the end. Awesome weapon! My second choice is a belt. Of course these choices presuppose training in these particular items. That's where the Hapkido comes in.

Possability 1: Your life is not in danger. In that case, use of deadly force is not appropriate, why are you using a weapon at all.

 

Possability 2: Your life is in danger. Why are you more worried about the legal reprocussions than being alive in 10 minutes?

 

Not to mention the option he sees you whip out your cane and he draws his firearm... oops, you just lost initiative.

Ummm.....

 

Katana, Chain Saw, Rail Gun, Light Saber and a Snow plough.

 

I would go with the Snow Plough, especially in winter.
