jedimc Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I'd have to say Above the law is my favorite. I love the beginning where he is narrating the movie and throwing his students around. Marked for death would have to be my second favorite. he's a pretty amazing person. Is this the scene http://www.stevenseagal.com/StevenSeagal.mpg http://jedimc.tripod.com/ma.html - what MA do you do, this is my poll.

username9 Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I like The Glimmer Man best as it is one of my fave fiolms full stop - but Marked for death is good too. Under Siege is good too. What tyope of Aikido does he study? Basically - anyone know more about his M.A background?! Cheers
jedimc Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Sensei Seagal holds black belts in Karate, Aikido and Kenjutsu and has also studied Judo, Kali, Kendo, Eastern Philosophy, Shinto Religion, and the Holistic Arts (including Acupuncture, Herbology and Calligraphy). Seagal is a Shodan in Shitoryu Karate and has trained briefly under Master Fumio Demura. He received his 1st dan in Aikido from Koichi Toheiin Orange County in the summer of 1974. In 1975, Steven Seagal became the first American He is currently a 7th dan granted by the Aiki-kai http://jedimc.tripod.com/ma.html - what MA do you do, this is my poll.
PrideampPoise Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Probably Under Siege, but that's partly because I'm a battleship fan. Most of Seagal's movies kind of run together for me, similar to with Van Damme. Not that I don't like them, just that most of them don't stand out.
