Patrick Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 In an embarrassing acknowledgment, the space agency said Thursday that it must have erased the Apollo 11 moon footage years ago so that it could reuse the videotape. Wow. Glad they are working on restoring it, though. Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com? bushido_man96 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Yeah, kind of crazy. One would think one would keep track of one's trip to THE FRICKIN' MOON! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Patrick Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Well, you know... my family has vacationed there a few times. It's great the first time, but once you've seen the moon... you've seen the moon. I REALLY needed a tape to record the last episode of House, so I decided to go ahead and tape over it one of our later visits. sensei8 Posted July 21, 2009 Author Posted July 21, 2009 Hopefully this isn't off topic!I'm hoping that NASA does go back to the Moon just to see if all of the stuff left there is still there and in what condition. Yeah, the other reasons for going back to the moon would be great too. **Proof is on the floor!!!
Patrick Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Glad you guys enjoyed that. Kind of an expensive trip to make just to see what's left. I imagine there would be other reasons, like you said. JusticeZero Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It wouldn't surprise me if they could look at all that with optical telescopes, though. "Anything worth doing is worth doing badly." - Baleia
