Iron Arahat Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 I would have to say Kwan Dao...not that I can carry it anywhere on a regular basis. On a more practical basis, probably the whip chain.... MuayTB1 Posted August 17, 2001 Posted August 17, 2001 I have to say the chinese Shien (dubble edge sword). One kind, you could wear it around you belt ( because it is so flexible ). "Don't think!! Feel..." -Bruce Leehttps://www.muaythaiboxing.friendpages.comThis site is dumb but I made it so it is good.

Valn Posted August 25, 2001 Posted August 25, 2001 I love the escrima sticks because they are easy to use and you can easily find some on the streets. For example, grab two car antena and you are ready to rock
Aikidoka Posted September 9, 2001 Posted September 9, 2001 Everyone seems to like the bo staff but I prefer the jo (about 4ft instead of 6ft). A wandering monk challenged Miyamoto Mushashi to a duel, katana versus bo, and got his arse kicked as it was just too slow. Then he had a 'vision' of the jo, invented some techniques and in the re-match he beat the Sword Saint - the only person ever to have done so! So my vote goes for either the jo or nunchaku.
iamrushman Posted September 9, 2001 Posted September 9, 2001 i agree about the jo staff..........the jo staff would be my second choice after the cane rushman (karate forums sensei)3rd dan wtf/kukkiwon"saying nothing...sometimes says the most"--e. dickerson
