abdoul Posted October 10, 2009 Author Posted October 10, 2009 I need an advice from an expert about how can I maintain the progress of my kind in Karate
bushido_man96 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Just let him keep going and practicing. What's even more important, make sure that he is enjoying it. If he doesn't, then there isn't going to be much heart put into it. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
abdoul Posted May 1, 2010 Author Posted May 1, 2010 Thanks God ..... Yousef Mahmoud got the Gold medal ...Here are some of his matches @ Alexandria Karate Championship 2010R16 R8 Semi-final Final He also got "the best player" for his age ....9 years
username13768 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Your son is VERY good at sparring, and that is for any age. However, no disrespect to you or your son but, sparring is not karate to me. It is a game of tag where there is no real Shotokan technique involved. I would like to see his forms and perhaps some one, two or three step sparring. As I said, he's very good at sparring at 8 years old. Just make sure that he's as good at the actual Shotokan techniques. He may already be but you haven't really shown any of that. Cheers
abdoul Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 you may watch more videos for him and his brother Omar from my channel @ youtube "mahmoudabdelrazak" they really do techniques .. they are trained to be used to do 3 or 4 maybe more steps at sparring .. some of their techniques are Wayen Otto's techniques.. but I don't know why they didn't show that at the competition ??
