Tobias_Reece Posted August 4, 2002 Posted August 4, 2002 Stell Dragon? Sounds like a strange kata to me. Who made it, what does it mean, etc. "You Are Never Given A Dream Without Also Being Given The Power To Make It True. dbalsdon Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 Are there any sites which teach you weapon katas by using diagrams to help.
SBN Doug Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 Currently, my favorite is my reverse sword form. Yuk gum hyung Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
Phantasmatic Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 I like Nakamura no Kama a lot, but that may be just because I just learned it. You can't use the kama until you are a san kyu at our school, but guess what, I just got my san kyu! "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi
amp Posted October 5, 2002 Posted October 5, 2002 Anything with katana blades. As soon as I get my car, I'm driving 45 minutes every Wednesday just to take Kenjutsu/Iaido/Iaijutsu. Aikido got me hooked on sword arts. Know thyself.
KU Posted October 6, 2002 Posted October 6, 2002 Jutte (sai) is my favorite however, the kendo kata are quite enjoyable, there short, sharp and shinny. - Only by contrast can we see.- Each for his own.
