white owl Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 What a warrior. To be able to go 4 rounds with a busted hand. I no I could not http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/news/story?id=4239835
Kuma Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I hate to be "that guy" but although certainly a testimony to his toughness there is some far more amazing fights where one of the fighters were unbelievably messed up but still fought on and won.Like Gille Le Guigou (who despite two broken ARMS still fought on and won his match against a Japanese kickboxer). That's just crazy. If you want to just go on sheer toughness alone, Jess Willard the boxer takes the cake. He fought on to the 3rd round despite a broken jaw, broken ribs, a broken nose, and a broken eye socket. Ouch!

tallgeese Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Nice one! http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
bushido_man96 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Just incredible to be able to fight through anything like that. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
baldwin11 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 That was quite a fight vs. Mike Brown. Faber was able to get some some well placed elbows in there. Be formless, like water
joesteph Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 What a warrior. To be able to go 4 rounds with a busted hand. I no I could not http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/news/story?id=4239835I clicked on a link at the bottom of the page, and to my surprise it was of a reporter, Aaron Tru, being rendered unconscious by Chris "Cyborg" Santos. It's at:http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?name=mmaThe video is in two parts, the knockout and the interview with the recovered reporter. Personally, I think it was the blood supply being cut off, even though the reference is to a choke. ~ JoeVee Arnis Jitsu/JuJitsu
