They can only be more fun with the Wii remove. The last one (on the Wii) was awesome. :)

I also love the Metroid games. I already own all 3 Primes, but I think I'll pick Trilogy up anyway so I can experience MP1 and MP2 with Wii controls. :D

Also, does anyone know about sequence breaking in the Metroid games? Metroid 2002 has great information. It also has videos of amazing tricks such as the Varialess Magmoor Run.

Thanks for sharing those links, Lord Yasai. That run was insanity. :D

I hadn't heard much about that stuff, no. Interesting. :)

Thanks,

Patrick

I know, the stuff at that site is amazing. I don't think I could ever do the Varialess Magmoor Run myself, but I have done a few of the sequence breaking tricks such as Space Jump first, Ice and Plasma beams before Spider Ball, and skipping the Gravity Suit. (I didn't bother to post the links this time, but all these tricks can also be found at metroid2002.com)

One of the most amazing tricks found in Prime 1 is Ice Beam Before Flaahgra, making use of the "secret worlds", the empty space outside the map's boundaries, and moving from room to room without reentering the map, which is known as "wallcrawling".

Here's a video of an IBBF run. The beginning to 6:49 is the important part, the rest is the guy doing the run travelling to Tallon Overworld to save at Samus's ship.
