I've bought used gear and heard there was a way to remove the logo from a different school from the helmet, etc. I could cover it with black duct tape, but would rather remove it if it can be done?

Just tested for my orange belt...Tang Soo!

Contact Century Martial Arts and ask them how to safely remove logos. Why them? They put logo's on them, therefore, they might know how to remove them. Just a suggestion.

I have noticed that on most gear the logo generally outlasts the gear. It would probably be easier to cover the logo up than try removing it .

It depends on how the logo was applied. I assume you're talking about dipped foam gear.

Most are stamped with some kind of ink. If it's a single color logo, this is probably the case. I've tried cleaning gear with a chemical cleaner of some kind, and the logo came off. I don't remember what I used. I think I was rubbing it with a rag that I had sprayed the cleaner on.

If it's a decal or some kind of digital printing, I don't know what to try.
