MuayTB1 Posted August 10, 2001 Posted August 10, 2001 Do you think in a Muay Thai match, teakwondo punches and kicks could be used? Or do you think that I should stick to the smashing kicks of Muay Thai? "Don't think!! Feel..." -Bruce Leehttps://www.muaythaiboxing.friendpages.comThis site is dumb but I made it so it is good.

Angus Posted August 10, 2001 Posted August 10, 2001 It's because question like that could cause an argument... It is MY opinion that Muay Thai kicks are far superior (in the roundhouse department) to the TKD and karate kicks... stick to the MT kicks man! Angus Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
MuayTB1 Posted August 10, 2001 Author Posted August 10, 2001 Hey, every body have his or her own opionion so it is ok. The MT kick and teakwondo kick is for different uses. Sometimes, any style of kicks or punches could be used because the reason people use it is because it works in some way. Just that almost no teakwondo guy fight with a muay thia guy. "Don't think!! thaiboxerken Posted August 12, 2001 Posted August 12, 2001 Sure, go ahead, to the TKD kicks in a Muay Thai match. You'll score virtually no points and won't do any damage to your opponent, unless you get really lucky. Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts.
