tallgeese Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 He was definatly one of the greats. It is time and probibly has been for a while. I'm glad he's doing so before it gets well past the right time. Great career adn a great fighter. He as probibly the last fighter to make me want to watch boxing. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
RW Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Did you see what pacquiao did to hatton? De la Hoya lasted MUCH more and he wasn't knocked out... DLH was not really that old as even he thought he was
bushido_man96 Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 That's a good point. Perhaps De La Hoya should fight a few more times... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
quinteros1963 Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 He was good, thats for sure. He fought most of the big name fighters in his day. Not many do that anymore. The past is no more; the future is yet to come. Nothing exist except for the here and now. Our grand business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what's clearly is clearly at hand...Lets continue to train!
