SaiFightsMS Posted July 8, 2002 Posted July 8, 2002 I really like the office XP particularly I like the smoothe way that word works. It is still a bit of a nuisancee making sure that everything else I get is going to be compatable.
ZR440 Posted July 8, 2002 Posted July 8, 2002 XP is good for those who are newbies to PCs, but a pain in the butt for business applications. It doesn't like some programs we run at all. I'll stick to Win98. It's happy hour somewhere in the world.

BlueDragon1981 Posted July 12, 2002 Author Posted July 12, 2002 Window 2000 professional is the best OS in my opinion. Linux is not for the common user yet. Unix will never be for the common user as for what types of agencies use it. They dont want you to know it so it is not widely advertized. Plus you have to know what your doing and a lot of people would not take the time to learn. Microsoft is getting carried away with their whole register XP thing. I think that has a lot to do with the government case against them though. Say what you want about Gates the man is a genious and create a system to use for the "users". Also is great at marketing. The government in my opinion has no case. I dont like the man to much myself. I think that is just because he is so darn rich.
