BlueDragon1981 Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 I play the game and I love it. I have been called a devil worshiper because I play it. That is far from the truth but I dont feel that this is the place to discuss it. I just want to know how many of you play it.
BlueDragon1981 Posted July 5, 2002 Author Posted July 5, 2002 Hello Please reply if you play or even like the game. It is a very good game.
SaiFightsMS Posted July 6, 2002 Posted July 6, 2002 I used to play D&D. Haven't played since college though. It is a good game. And it is a great way to exercise ones creativity and mental imagery.
Son of Scran Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 I haven't played D&D for some years now, but I'm still playing other RPGs. ( Castle Falkenstein is the current one ) One of the people I occasionally train with is planning to take her first try at GMing using D&D 3rd Edition, and I'm going to be one of her players/victims Try as I might, I just cannot think of a witty signature.
Eye of the Tiger Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 I used to watch that when I was a wee nipper, still remember it. Great show.
SaiFightsMS Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 No not a show, the original fantasy role playing game. You choose a character type and develope the character in the course of the game play. It is sort of a board game played on a grid. The course of the dungeon is stocked with monsters and adventures based on the roll of di. There are lots of nice probability charts and things that affect the course of play. It takes good imagination and visual imagery skills. This is a game you play in your head and share your fantasy with a group of other players.
Tobias_Reece Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 I never played, but I used to play Warhammer and Necromunda - hee hee, I loved those games. I also got introduced to Magic: The Gathering a while back, and I thought that game was ace. Very hard, but ace. ANyway, I'm trying to think of something funny about role-plays, but can't, so I'm going to retire gracefully "You Are Never Given A Dream Without Also Being Given The Power To Make It True. Eye of the Tiger Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 Do you know how much of you sound. I'd rather kick the hell out of the bag than talking to a group about my fantasies, and somehow I dont think my fantasies are gonna be on dragons if you know what I mean.
