starting kickboxing and mixed martial arts next week

Those are some good stretches to get you started. After you are warm from working out, some split stretches will be good to add, too. Ask your instructor about them.

i went to watch a kickboxing class today before i started, and im glad i did, the lesson was 40 mins and 30 mins of that was exercise, they spent about 8 or so mins learning 1 move. ive decided to wait and find a better place :bawling:

Hmm, I'd have figured that it would be longer than 40 minutes.

However, spending time on drilling a move isn't necessarily a bad thing, either. That way, you can get in some good reps before you start applying it to bag or sparring work.
