DWx Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Found these videos. Some good info in there:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdU-dcouUrkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shPj5xidsQo "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
joesteph Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 It does have good info, DWx. I noticed he didn't utilize the "horizontal" palms forward at chest level position, which I usually think of for defining space/the boundary of the fence, but a more "gregarious" one, resembling a boxer's stance. Both are worth practicing. He was clear on how he was seeking to avoid a fight while all the while being ready to go in a split second. Clever fellow. ~ JoeVee Arnis Jitsu/JuJitsu
bushido_man96 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I think that the psychological aspect is the part that is the most overlooked when it comes to SD training. It is definitely worth looking into more. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

joesteph Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I saw ElShaft's post and rewatched the videos again. They're very helpful, even if only to give a game plan. ~ JoeVee Arnis Jitsu/JuJitsu
algernon Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 He really seemed to have done his homework. He nicely supplemented theory with experience, and I liked how he emphasized the necessity of matching strategy to skill and preparedness. It's good to see some videos that aren't a bunch of rubbish!
